Well look who has finally made his way to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It's none other than Sting, the most popular and successful superstar who never worked with the biggest pro wrestling company in the world.

Earlier today, WWE.com formally announced that the Stinger now has his own profile page on the website:

Sting's charismatic personality and colorful face pant made him one of the WCW's most popular wrestlers and the most recognizable face of the organization. For the first-time ever on WWE.com, check out Sting's profile, photos and videos, the latest addition to the Alumni section!

Immediately after this news broke, speculation began regarding how long it will take until the rumors are flying. My Cageside colleague Jason Mann quickly realized the exact rumor we will undoubtedly be inundated with.

"Sting is now on WWE.com's alumni section. How many minutes before we get Sting vs. Undertaker rumors, again?"

It's unknown why Sting has been added to the WWE website at this time. His profile is as expected, most notably ignoring everything he's done since World Championship Wrestling (WCW) closed back in 2001. The editors were surprisingly complimentary of him, though.

Remembered for his colorful charisma and struggle with The nWo, Sting has become synonymous with the Atlanta-based organization. Although he has never competed in a WWE ring, more than a decade since the demise of WCW, he remains one of the most popular and respected competitors of all-time.

Anyone still hanging on to the hopes that Sting will one day show up on WWE TV before his career ends?
